(Getting ready to bathe Caddy before a show)

I discovered this breed in January of 2006 after succumbing to a persistent whim of 'wanting a small dog.' Best whim of my life, let me tell you! I knew nothing during my puppy search and basically lucked out and found a wonderful breeder on the American Maltese Association list. It didn't take me long to realize that this went WAY beyond just being a small dog owner, it was something special.

My second Maltese was purchased as a show dog and came to me from a very caring breeder in Tennesee (Dian Lynch of MiDis Maltese) who has helped me so much. My little Miss Caddy decided that she liked being a family dog more than being a show dog though and so our time in the ring was very limited. Caddy has been cut down and is now a mom and continues to be the wonderful dog that she is.

This brings us to my latest addition, Caira, who was given to me by this same wonderful breeder to make up for Caddy wanting to be a couch potato rather than a show dog. Caira is a beautiful and spunky little girl and her fearless attitude translates very well in the ring!

So that is my story and how I got started in exhibiting Maltese. As stated on the home page, I am very new and do not have of accomplishments to list, but I hope to change that! At this time, I do not have a 'available puppies' page on this website because any breeding I do will be on a very small scale and I do not anticipate having many puppies available to pet homes. I will not be breeding for profit, only to produce my own show potentials. If you would like to inquire about a puppy, please feel free to email me!

I live in the central valley of California and my two children (Shane and Marina) are very involved with our dogs. My husband is not an animal person but has fallen in love with this breed of dog and has been so supportive about everything. I have made so many friends in this wonderful world of Maltese and have learned so much. Thank you to everybody who has helped make my dreams of exhibiting come true!!
